Tractorsazi of Tabriz lined up against Naft of Tehran in the evening on Thursday at Khorramshahr’s Naftogaz Arvandan Stadium to play the final fixture of 2016-17 season f Iran’s Hazfi Cup. The event kicked off at 8:30 p.m. local time.
Sajjad Shahbazzadeh headed into the net the sole goal of the event in the 88th minute to let Ali Daei’s side defeat Amir Ghalenoie’s side and win the trophy.
This is the third time Ali Daie wins the title as a coach. He had formerly grabbed the trophy of Hazfi Cup twice with the red giants of Tehran, Persepolis.
